Agile certified Practitioner Preparation Program

What is PMI-ACP®?

Agile Certified Practitioner credential offered by Project Management Institute (PMI®) is designed for project management practitioners who are using Agile practices in their projects, or whose organizations are adopting Agile approaches to project management.
Agile is a topic of growing importance in project management today. The marketplace reflects this importance, as project management practitioners increasingly embrace Agile as a technique for managing successful projects. The PMI-ACP® certification recognizes an individual’s expertise in using agile practices in their projects, while demonstrating their increased professional versatility through Agile tools and techniques.

WELCOME TO PMI-ACP® PROGRAM
The results of the PMI- ACP® Pilot Examination were released on 10 January 2012. It was a tough experience since there was no standard body of knowledge for the exam or any lessons learned from previous exams. PMI® had prescribed eleven text books as the benefit of PMI-ACP® aspirants.

However I read about fifteen text books altogether to prepare for the Examination. There were questions from Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, Crystal methodologies, Soft skills and Agile Coaching.

Now the regular ACP® exam is open for candidates. Since the exam is available on line, candidates can easily plan the exam. PMS is creating a comprehensive study guide summarizing the content of prescribed text books for the benefit of PMI-ACP® aspirants.

Good Luck !
